Event Information
The Oban International Shanty Festival 2024 is taking place at various venues in Oban, Argyll  from Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd June  and will include concerts, interactive workshops and storytelling events​

Tickets are now available for your feast of fun and shanties in Oban, the gateway to the isles. Plenty of free performances are available throughout the weekend but concerts and selected workshops are ticketed. -

Event Details

The Station Square will be jumping all weekend long to the music of all of our fantastic bands; bars will be rollicking with shanties; and added to all that there will be workshops to attend including the very popular "how to play the ‘bones’!".  Places are limited for the workshops so booking will be needed.

And if you’re still gasping for more, our main multi-artist concerts will be a rollicking good night out for all the family.
